Sea turtles are an important part of the ecosystem and food web. They need/use a lot of things that are sediment and parts of different cycles.
~How turtles fit in with the rock cycle
Turtles need rocks to survive, they use coral or underwater rocks to scrape off algae and sometimes to hide. They use sand to build their nest for their babies, it also helps that the sand is part of the rock cycle because when the baby turtles hatch they break out of their shell, an their shell could decompose and turn into sediment, therefore becoming part of the rock cycle. When a sea turtle dies, its bones also decomposes into sediment.
~How turtles fit in the water cycle
Turtles certainly fit in the water cycle because turtles NEED water to survive. Sea turtles not only need the ocean(water) for their natural habitat/swimming but also for drinking, also when a sea turtle dies it releases minerals into the water.
~How turtles fit into the carbon cycle
Turtles creates/uses carbon alot, this helps the atmosphere plenty. Turtles eat algae which pulls carbon out of the air and turns it into oxygen. They also exhales carbon, and when they die their shell and bones decompose and releases carbon into the atmosphere.
